WampServer

I have downloaded WampServer 2.4 and installed it on a Windows 7 32-bit PC.
I have applied all the suggested fixes in the sticky above.
I can access the index.php file from localhost.
I initially could not access it from other PCs on the same LAN.
As per other threads I added 'Require ip 192.168.2' to the httpd.conf file.
Having done that I can now access the index file from all the local PCs.

BUT from the internet I still get the message in the subject heading.

I have been at this now for days and would really appreciate any suggestions as to how to proceed.

If you want to allow access from the internat you have to tell Apache thats ok, so

Replace these commands

Require local
Require ip 192.168.2

With

Require all granted

If all else fails you can always read the manual, see below

OK, first of all, many thanks for taking the trouble to reply to this elementary query.
Your suggestion has of course solved the problem.
I agree fully - always RTFM before posting.

The following are my excuses(lame).

The manual above is 'under construction' so I ignored it - bad decision.
I did search many times on the error message and was directed finally to the sticky - things to do after installation. This looked like the answer - but wasn't.
Finally I had a strong memory of using Wampserver briefly in past years and found it to work out of the box.
I assumed that 'put online' meant just that.

RE: The manual:

Ignore the idea of a WAMPServer manual, its never coming.

WAMPServer is Apache/MySQL and PHP all of which are well documented in their own right, can I suggest you get familiar with those manuals if you want to get into these things.
