Hi all,

Ive got a bit of a wierd one here... I am developing at site offline and have not done any work on it for a couple of months now. When I started it up earlier and opened phpMyAdmin my sites database is not in the list.

So I thought I would try and create new and import the .sql file from C:\wamp\bin\mysql\mysql5.6.12\data\my-db... but I cannot find it anywhere, in any of the folders within my wamp server...

Its really wierd because everything is work as normal on my site, so it must be there somewhere!

Anyone got any ideas?

Thanks smiling smiley

DB are not SQL files unless you intentionally back it up.

Hi Steven,

Thanks for getting back to me re: db issue.

What am I looking for if not an SQL file? I only thought it was an sql file based on a post I read on StakeOverFlow forum.

I see a db.opt ??

Install TeamViewer and I will troubleshoot for you.

Install TV, then run it.

Do this before attempting a connection.

How to Configure Team Viewer so it does not require port 80 or 443

Run TV
Extras -> Options -> Advanced -> Press the Advanced Button -> Advanced Network Connections

Check the checkbox saying [ Dont use incomming port 80 (recommended for web servers only ) ]
Stop and restart TV.

Then
Send me a Private Message containing the TV ID and PASSWORD so I can connect.
Leave TV running as it will change the password each time you restart it.

I am on UK time (GMT) and am normally available 09:00 - 16:00 and normally later into the evening.
