greetings,
I am having a problem with the interface and access.
I have installed and uninstalled WAMP at least three times, getting new .exes each time.
My issue is, being on the Database tab, I see only "Create database with a blue circle question mark" and the following line has an "x" in a red circle beside the words "No Privileges" in red.
When I click on "Status", I get this:
SQL query: Edit Edit

SHOW PROCESSLIST

MySQL said: Documentation
#1227 - Access denied; you need (at least one of) the PROCESS privilege(s) for this operation

How do I change whatever to grant me any privileges?
Using Vista -- don't know if that is a contributing problem.
thank you for your help.
Cheers,
Mario

Hi Steve,
I can log in just fine.
It's that I have no privileges to create a new db.

Did you login with

Username = root
Password = (leave this blank)

If not it would explain your issues !!!!

If you use anything else before you setup your own userid's you will be logged in with the 'Any' userid and that userid has 'as you say....... NO PRIVILAGES to do anything' !!!!

Try it.

Hi Steve,
