Hi,

I would like to know if there is a way to detect if wampserver is installed on a computer. Is there a registry entry made by the installer that can be used to detect this?

Thanks,
Gaurav

This is not an expert answer, but I dont think WAMP creates registry entries by virtual of being installed.

However it does install 2 services 'wampapache' and 'wampmysql'

You can check for these here

Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\service\wampapache
Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\service\wampmysql

Hope that helps.
