WAMP not running

I had My Sql and PHP on my computer. I have now insatlled WAMP. But It does not run. It starts but then it says none of the services are running. How do I overcome this. Do I need to to uninstall My Sql and PHP before installtion. Any help is welcome.

uninstall the versions of mysql and apache you installed yourself. then try to start wamp again. if it does not work, uninstall wamp, then completely delete the cc:\wamp folder and the folders of the apache and mysql you installed. restart your computer and install wamp.
