WampServer

I have the PhP4 add-on installed, when i switch from PhP5 to PhP4 i then cannot connect to MySQL, i have had a browse around these forums and saw a pointer to "mywamp.ini" and to add old_passwords at the end of it, ..however after searching in the very deepest darkest depths of windows i cannot find such a file, would appreciate some help, thanks for your time.. HB

C:\wamp\mysql\mywamp.ini

remember, anytime you edit your mywamp.ini file, you need to restart mysql for the new setting to take effect.

thanks for the reply i've looked in that folder there is no file named "mywamp.ini"

here is a list of "my" files that i have in the mysql folder

my-inodb-heavey-4G
my-medium
my-template
my-huge
my-large
my-small

my.ini
