Greeting gents,

I have installed wampserver in my windows 7 labtop. The first problem was with port 80 since it was used by other program, so I changed the port for wampserver to 81 and the server now is online. The problem with the localhost and phpMyAdmin page, the page can't be accessed and I got this message "The webpage cannot be found" error # 404. Any idea?

It is best to re-configure the other software so you can use wamp on port 80. Web servers are supposed to run on port 80.

What other software was grabbing port 80??

Yup thats how you do it but it is still better to make Apache run on port 80.

there are easy ways to re-configure most software that defaults to port 80, what was it that caused your problem, do you know?
