WampServer

I can install wamp server 32 bit and c++ vb it run but when i write localhost in my browser it can not connect with it.
I can face this problem when i insatall it first time but some one repaire it

WHat colour is your wampmanager icon?

orange

Ignore the online bit, its irrelevant at this stage.

If wampmanager icon in system tray is orange then one of the services ( wampapache or wampmysql ) has not started, probably apache in this case.

Using the wampmanager menus :

Check its apache like this: wampmanager -> Apache -> Service -> ( if the Start/Resume service is GREEN then apache has not started)

Do wampmanager -> Apache -> Service -> Test port 80
This will run a command window and tell you if another process has already captured port 80 ( which apache need to own )

If this tell you something is using port 80, whatever it is will have to be stopped/uninstalled or re-configured to use another port.

Let me know what is using port 80 if you cannot sort it out for yourself.

the localhost link on the wampserver is not working

Skype reserves port 80 for its incoming connection which conflicts with WAMP, so simply configure Skype to use another port by doing the following:

In Skype go to Tools|Options|Advanced|Connection uncheck the option --> Use port 80 and 443 as alternatives for incoming connections, that's it

For this change to take effect restart Skype and Restart all services on WAMP by doing the following:

Left-click WAMP tray icon > Restart All Services"

Now Wamp and Skype can co-exist together, hope this solves your problem!!

i unchecked the skype settings.
Still its not working

Here is all Apach services like start/resum,stop and restart are disable.
