Hi Guys,

I tried to install WAMP on my virtual machine.
It's xp system. 32bits.
I tried many times. It always gave me error at the last step of installation.
The error is like :
"Aestan Tray Menu has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience...."

Thanks

janicelau,

Please check that you have the 2 microsoft Visual C++ runtimes installed ( mentioned in one of the 2 STICKY posts in the Message List ) before you try the install again.

martin,

As mentioned above please check you have BOTH the C++ 2010 AND C++ 2008 redist installed

2010 is used by Apache
2008 is used by Aestan Tray ( download from here : latest SP1 version [www.microsoft.com])

They are not the same thing so they both need to be installed!!!
