WAMPSERVER - server Offline

I just downloaded WAMPSERVER 2.2 on my Windows 7 system. The icon is yellow and states "server Offline". When I click on Localhost or phpMyAdmin, Google Chrome opens up an error tab stating "Oops! This link appears to be broken."

I'm sure I've overlooked something simple. My ISP is ATT U-Verse if that is pertinent.

Can anyone help me?

if wamp manager is Orange then probably the Apache service has not started.

Do this and post the results


left click wampmanager icon -> Apache -> Service -> Test port 80
