WampServer

I have Wampserver 2.2 installed.

I went to PHP > PHP extensions and checked PHP_curl.

I am trying to install opencart, but i still get this error:

Warning: CURL extension needs to be loaded for OpenCart to work!

I tried downloading php_curl.dll, but i don't have a directory called PHP, which i read was where to paste it.

Any suggestions? Tnx

I assume you are using the 64 bit WAMP.

You will have to download a 64bit curl extension, there is one here

Or go back to the 32 bit WAMP. Are you sure opencart is fully compatible with 64 bit?

No i am not sure if it is compatible

Yes i downloaded the extension, but i dont know which directory to paste into?

Which one do i need to download? i downloaded the first one, on the list and replaced the current php_curl.dll, but it still dosent seem to work:

php_curl-5.3.13-nts-VC9-x64.zip

php_curl-5.3.13-VC9-x64.zip

php_curl-5.4.3-nts-VC9-x64.zip

php_curl-5.4.3-VC9-x64.zip

It need to be Thread Safe (TS) So not the -nts- ones they are non thread safe.

the 5.3.13 numbers should match your PHP version number.

x64 if you have installed a 64 bit PHP and 32 if its a 32 bit PHP

I think it was because of the 64 bit i installed the 32 bit version, and i dont get the error anymore
