External Traffic Timing Out

Hello,

I upgraded from Apache 2.2.22 to Apache 2.4.2, and PHP 5.3.13 to 5.4.3.

After doing so, periodically, our external site (https://mysite.com) is timing out for end users. If I log into the box and load the site using [localhost], it loads fine.

If I restart wampserver, everything comes back to normal.

Any thoughts? Should I increase my cache size (currently at 300)?

Have you checked yout php error log and apache access and error log for the period when you get the slowdown. It may well give you a clue as to whats happening

Hi RiggsFolly,

I checked out the logs earlier, but didn't see anything obviously spinning out of control or returning errors.

False alarm;

it turns out this was combined internet failover and DNS setup problem, that coincided with the Apache upgrade.
