wamp server doesn't work

i install wamp server 2.0 on my laptop but port 80 engage microsoft http api/2.0

change the port number your wamp server listens to in httpd.conf,

open file from the wamp tray icon, search (ctrl + F) and search '80' replace with 8080 or 81,

save and restart the wamp server and use this [localhost]

It would be better to uninstall IIS if yo are not using it.

If you are planning to uninstall IIS as RiggsFolly said, please uninstall the following as all of them if installed use port 80.

1. IIS itself
2. Web Deploy 2.0
3. MS Sql Server Reporting service.

all have to be uninstalled separately...
