Seeing my localhost page on iPads and iPhones

Hello,
Does anyone know how to develop locally with a team using WAMP on one machine? I don't have a third computer to use as a hub so I would simply like to allow my partner to be able to see my wamp folder and also to see or use localhost.

This way I/We could test iPhone and iPad compatibility? Any advice would be great!

Left click wamp> put online

then use your 192.168.x.x address from the other machine instead of localhost.

Just share the www folder onto both pc's if you are on the same network, or else use dropbox etc if your not

Hey Steve,

Have you got that to work?
I opened the port 80 i Windows firewall and still can't get the IP to work on another device... That's apparently where everyone seems to have the trouble.

Any help you can offer is appreciated!

Did you do as instructed

Left click wamp> put online

Thats left click on the wampmanager icon in the system tray and click the 'Put Online' menu option

Oh yeah,

I develop exclusively with Wamp and am familiar with how it works but tutorials online say that you have to allow port 80 in Windows firewall .

This is what I've been reading but it's a bit more complicated than I thought or they express here -> [guides.jlbn.net]
