Hello

i'm running wamp 2.2 with
apache 2.4.2
php 5.4.3
mysql 5.5.24

i have a webpage that uses a sql data base
everything was runnig fine until i tried to update the Page for what i need to connect to database during installation.
But it's impossible to connect

first i got this

Then uninstalled wamp and installed it new
also installed mysql 5.1.41 and using this right now

I can access Data base via php admin but cannot connect with my website installation
i created an extra user with pw, all privileges and have a root user with pw

Federated is not your problem. Thats an extension that alows you to access external databases via MySQL.

Look somewhere else.

Post the code you used to do the mysql_connect
