I just solved this issue. Check in your apps folder if the phpmyadmin folder is named "phpymadmin2.11.5". I have tried it with both IE 7 and FF. I get a 403 - Forbidden error. Firefox says "You don't have permission to access /phpmyadmin/ on this server."

If you install over the exit wamp, the settings will keep intact which means you still have problem if already had problem

I installed WAMP on my server.Its working properly on localhost.I am trying to access it from another computer using the IP address of the computer.The APACHE and the PHP services are working from another computer and I get the apache home page but when I click on the phpmyadmin link it gives an error saying forbidden error i.e HTTP 403 ( Forbidden ) error. I am trying to upgrade phpMyAdmin to version 2.11.4 from versoin 2.10.3 I used the same configuration file which is located here --> The only thing I changed was Line 71; I changed that to cookie authentication and it didn't do any good. Using the Wampserver 2.0 tray icon, I put my server online... Every thing is working as expected as long as I browse to from the server itself. When I try to browse to from another computer I get a 403 forbidden error. I can't find anything in config.inc.php or httpd.conf that is blocking access to , but it's not letting me in.
