Hi All, I just installed WAMP 2.2 (Apache 2.2.22 + MySQL 5.5.24 + PHP 5.3.13) on my Windows 8 Release Preview System. During Installation I found "MSVCR100.dll Missing Error" . Fixed That and then re-installed. When I visit "localhost" It shows the WAMP Server Homepage. When I access "localhost/phpmyadmin/" or "localhost/webgrind/" I get a 403

Hello! As my name and subject line suggest, I am new to WAMPServer and I am getting a 403 error. I've tried changing the alias for phpmyadmin to "allow from all" even though that's dangerous (I'm not going to put my server online, just need a test environment for a website) and I have tried configuring an .htaccess file, but I didn't really know enough about what I needed to enter into

I'm running Windows 8 Release Preview, which I discovered uses port 80. I think I've worked around that problem but I'm still having problems with the Forbidden error, also I can't reset the MySql password or get myPhpAdmin to work, any help would be appreciated. I've got team viewer installed if that helps. Bob

I have tried to upgrade phpMyAdmin from 3.5.1 to 3.5.2.1. It took a while but after some tries it worked. Then I tried to upgrade to 3.5.2.2 but it didn't work I got back to 3.5.1 . To do so I copy the folder into C:\wamp\apps, then I change C:\wamp\alias\phpmyadmin.conf But I can't get it up back to work. My WAMP is GREEN. WORKS PERFECTLY AND SHOWS the configuration I write downwa
