cool i asked you that cause while i browse through other forums and blogs and websites i see people saying that you should use wamp and xampp cause when the ended up gettinig problems and it was to much to fix and the couldn,t fix it so they insatlled all the programs one by one

first go to your httpd.conf in C:\wamp\bin\apache\Apache2.2.11\conf open the file and look for the line DocumentRoot "C:/wamp/www/" and change it to DocumentRoot "D:/www/" and the find <Directory "C:/wamp/www/"> and change it to <Directory "D:/www/"> save the file and restart your server

i use dsl and the isp has a nat firewall but you dont really need a router to get your site online cause i tested it on another pc

you don't really need a router to open ports i did it by simply opening the ports of my windows fire wall and you can just change the port the server listens to an you don't even have to learn to forward your ports

if your trying to access phpmyadmin you my need to add the ips to the phpmyadmin.conf file found in the alias directory of the server <Directory "C:/wamp/apps/sqlitemanager1.2.0/"> Options Indexes FollowSymLinks MultiViews AllowOverride all Order Deny,Allow Deny from all Allow from 127.0.0.1 Allow from 192.0.0.0 Allow from 192.0.0.0

it doesnt even load and did you try to go to my site [201.221.75.137] please check and tell me if you see the wamp default page cause i cant by the way the ip i got was one were they took the firewall of the nat cause the dont give u the password but when i check to see if port 80 is open from canyouseeme.org they say its open so now im woundering wat to do now i've been trying to get this up

first you need to login to phpmyadmin go to privileges then click to edit for the user( root) if it has more than one users to be exact its the one with all the privileges after u clicked edit scroll down to the change password box and enyer your pass word choose a good pass cause the would be for your mysql databases now if you try to login you wont be able to go in phpmyadmin if this happen

i meant just a nat box my problem is when i check if my ports are open its says its open but when i type my public ip it does load and by the way i have a static ip i got it from my isp
