Wouldn't it just be simpler to install all the redistributables. As you are getting all this for free, the least you could do is just install all the redistributables, afterall, they are not going to do you system any harm and it is just possible that other software you install may also make use of one or more of these redistributables!

When you say you cannot access Apache, do you mean that you cannot see the WAMPServer home page when you enter `localhost` into any browsers address bar? It is also helpful if you answer all these question as part of asking a question.

This is a browser/javascript message and nothing to do with WAMPServer per se. Remember, WAMPServer is the wrapper that allows easy install of Apache,PHP.mysql. etc etc. Content-Security-Policy is managed by either a script or Apache, all of which are now YOURS to COMMAND. By default there are no Content-Security-Policy directives in Apache, unless you added some. So installing WAM

This i think is because you are using Chrome and nothing to do with WAMPServer. Google have decided to use https by default. Does this also happen when you use FireFox or Edge?

This is really not the sort of thing this site is for! Take a look at the Apache documentation relating to ALIAS. In order to access data not in the Apache Document Root, you create an Alias pointing to the folder where your data is and tell apache it is allowed to access it. Start Here

You create 2 domains in your DDNS account both pointing to your IP. Apache then looks at the domain name and tries to find it in the Virtual Hosts list. Apache (if it finds the domain) then serves pages from the folder pointer to by the specific Virtual Host

First, this line in the HOSTS file is not valid. The port number is not a valid entry and is ignored even if it does not cause errors 192.168.2.5 mydomain.ddns.net:8081 Secondly, you cannot have2 virtual hosts with the same ServerName by virtue of the way Apache searches the Virtual Host list to see if it can find a matching Servername. In short it will finf the first one and never the s

Hi papijo I am sorry but this is just not true. innodb_buffer_pool_size = 1G works just fine. I would suggest there is something else wrong in your case. However I to get the error message if I try to set a value using the wampmanager menus that is less than 10G as the following error message says it is validating The value you entered (1G) is out of range. The number must

Remember, WordPress keeps the url in its database, you may need to change those records. It is a process well documented on the wordpress site under "Moving your site" Of course it would be better to create a Virtual Host, then install your WP into that. And then you can make it a HTTPS site as well

You need to create a Virtual Host to house your project See This sticky post to get you started. Couple of things that were not clear in your description. QuoteI placed my "siat" project inside the "www" folder of WampServer. Do you mean you added a folder called `siat` under the `www` folder? Or do you mean you put the Wordpress code into the `www` folder itself? NOT

Hi, I assume you are talking about MySQL, you dont make it completely clear. However, it is clear that you do not understand what WAMPServer is! To all intents and purpose it is a mashup of various technologies, Apache, MySQL, mariaDB, PHP, phpMyAdmin etc etc etc. None of these technologies is controled by the WAMPServer team (thats OTO). Further, WAMPServer makes no pronmise to do a

Hi, This is not a WAMPServer issue. But this is what WAMPServer is for, for you to start your carear as a web master and do a bit of research into Apache to see how to configure it to cope with these requirements.
