Hi, Indeed, as Otomatic say, as soon as you put those 4 missing lines in httpd.conf, save it, exit Wamp and then restart it, the warning icons disappear. I always had them there but did't know what is wrong. Good catch, thanks. #LoadModule auth_form_module modules/mod_auth_form.so #LoadModule cache_socache_module modules/mod_cache_socache.so #LoadModule macro_module modules/mod_macro.so

Hi Oto, any 2.5 updates? All working great with 2.5.13 though! Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year 2015!

Hello Oto, Running the latest 2.5.13, I get this red warning on bottom of index.php: *** ERROR *** The PHP configuration loaded file is: C:/wamp25/bin/apache/apache2.4.9/bin/php.ini - should be: c:/wamp25/bin/apache/apache2.4.9/bin/php.ini or c:/wamp25/bin/php/php5.5.12/phpForApache.ini All those files are identical, anyway, and there seems to be no actual issue with running the server/ser

Thanks! I will send it after work. Which editor do you use for Franch lang files, to keep the diacritics in an ASCII encoded file? Is the Aestan Tray Menu a dead project? Cannot the development team get this suggestion for modernisation? Utf-8 come as a standard nowadays. Besides, some existing languages don't display properly because of this (eg Russian).

Superb. I upgraded to 2.5.12. Everything seem to work fine. I translated to Romanian, but the Wamp menu is not utf-8 enabled. If I use an asci encoded file for romanian.php, all diacritics are lost. So I use "utf-8 without bom". Can you change the menu to be utf-8 compatible? How can I send you the latinized version of the Romanian translation? It will be replaced with the utf tr

Oto, I noticed two things: The main tutorial still has an extra ; left (at 4). And the french version (scroll down at 4a) is still not fixed. Both should be replaced with: { // Support de suppressLocalhost dans wampmanager.conf $myreplacesubmenuProjects .= 'Type: item; Caption: "'.$projectContents[$i].'"; Action: run; FileName: "'.$c_navigator.'"; Parameters: &qu

Ok, I debugged the error: refresh.php (original) contains at least one error (missing dot on line 36, probably extra ] on line 656 - after 2nd $projectContents): require($langDir.$wampConf['defaultLanguage'].'lang'); should be replaced with: require($langDir.$wampConf['defaultLanguage'].'.lang'); Then on line 656: $myreplacesubmenuProjects .= 'Type: item; Caption: "'.$project

Ok, I added php5.6.2.32 with edited php.ini, phpForApache.ini and wampserver.conf (I also put DO_NOT_DELETE_5.6.2.32.txt in the php root) I did the same for php5.3.29, 5.4.34, 5.2.18 and 5.6.2 (all 64b). I cannot see any other php version than the original 5.5.12. I don't know what I'm missing. I use TeamViewer if you want and have time to take a look yourself. Thank you Folly!

Thank you very much for this such comprehensive tutorial! One thing though: does it matter if I have latest wamp 2.5 64B and I downloaded the corresponding php5.6.2 VC11 64b? I'm asking because I followed thoroughly (I think) your steps and there is still no php5.6.2 in the menu... I am downloading now the x86 version and see if it matters.

With the latest wamp 2.5, running on vhosts, the tray icon is green and everything works fine, locally. When I mouse over the icon, it says WAMPSERVER - server Offline and the bottom left menu says Put online. If I click, the server restarts all services, turning green again, no problem, but it still has the same statuses. I haven't changed anything related to giving access from outside LAN (i

1. I use Wamp with ESET Smart Security fully enabled (automatic mode) with no problems, for years now. The only case in which I needed to add allow wamp (2.4) manually was on older versions of ESET, but just when I needed access to my server from outside the LAN. 2. For those having skype starting with windows, you should always start skype after wampserver icon turns green. So start wamp firs

Hello again, It seems to me that there is no addons section on the wampserver website anymore. Is that true or the link is hidden somewhere? I am running the latest wamp 2.5 and I was looking to get some extra versions of Apache/php/mysql. (php5.6/6 perhaps) Thank you. PS: of course I can try to get them directly and hack in the codes, but I was wondering...

Hi, After following the Virtual Hosts tutorial, I succeeded to add my vhosts, including the vhost left menu. Previously, I have followed how to NOT suppress_localhost, it worked fine, but I reverted to have localhost/ hidden. It seems it works fine. The problem is, when I click on any of the vhost labels in the left menu, it opens the url (i.e. mychat/) but it displays the default localhos

If it helps, I did this: Switched to apache 2.2.22 then php 5.4.16 then back to 2.4.4. Strangely, it works fine, including the mysql connection, the icon is green and the triangle is now away, as for 5.4.15. Rest are still there. As a test, using the new 2.4.4 menu, I switched back to php 5.4.15 and 5.4.16 successively, It still works and able to switch now. So there might be another small g

1. For the msi versions, I only got one or two a few years ago, when the php release sources were uncompiled (which I didn't know how to compile - and still don't have any idea). But no, lately, they release the zip sources exactly as your add-ons. It only need the wampmanager.conf and the txt file in the php parent folder. Of course, and the appropriate import of php.ini settings. 2. I had th

As you taught us a few years ago, I get desired versions from the official php.net and mysql.com either as sources or win installers (for the second, I install it in program files, copy the according folders into the wmp path, add wampmanager file and required txt file accordingly, then I uninstall the win php). Many of them worked without any issues (same for phpmyadmin). But I always wondered

Ok, the problem was we didn't know about refresh. Should be mentioned, to update the menu using refresh, each new app version folder should include the wampserver.conf file and the according DO_NOT_DELETE_x.x.x.txt file. It didn't see the new filders until I put those 2 files. Is this correct?

Well, the answer is incomplete. I have added 3 new php versions. I have set httpd.conf to use 5.4.12 and also modified wampmanager.ini in all instances where the old 5.2.4 was used. I have also added manually the new version sections, otherwise they don't appear in the aestan tray menu (latest wampservr btw). I've done this with apache uninstalled as service and wampserver closed, just to make

Hi. I'm not able to switch from apache 2.2.22 to 2.3.14 and from php 5.3.5 to 5.4. When I try to switch the apache version it says that the currnt php version is not compatible (5.3.5), while when trying to switch php to 5.4 it says it's not compatible with the current apache version (2.2.22). It seems to me w need to manually make the switch, but I'm not sure where to do that. Any ideas? Tha
