hmmmmm.... i dont know too much about Wamp and this hosting softwares but it looks like they are only coded for a Linux System and not Windows Edit: i just found this cool Hosting Control Panel but sadly its not free.... Here you may see the demo

you should have a folder called logs inside your WWW Folder did you fallowed all steps which yfastud gave you? including the thing about C:\WINDOWS\............. he forgot to mention that you need to open the hosts file so go to C:\WINDOWS\System32\drivers\etc open the hosts file with notepad delete everything inside it and only add this line: 127.0.0.1 localhost

the only command prompt from wamp is the MySQL Console

usually /preferable it should be localhost for what i know but you may change local host to whatever name you want .. like MYSITE from this directory: C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts

ok fixed it with this .htaccess code AddType text/html .shtml AddOutputFilter INCLUDES .shtml Thanks

Chris Export your database into a .SQL File And then Import it back into the second/new Wamp Server Directory To Export it from the old wamp: Go to Click The Export Tab from the right side of the page now that the page loaded Look in the right place and click select all to select all databases scroll at the bottom of the page and Click "zipped" And then Click Go Hooorayyy !!

I Just tryed to open a .shtml extension and it opens it as text not as a normal html file how may i fix it?

Hi i runned a script that displays the availability of a domain nameand i am getting this error Deprecated: Function ereg() is deprecated in C:\wamp\www\ i tryed the script at my Linux web host and it works well without that error any ideas how may i fix it?

if it looks like that it should work.... be sure that after you removed the ::1 localhost and saved the file u restarted wamp or your pc

Nevermind... i ve made it seems the .htaccess files are indeed working i done it by adding this in my .htaccess file Options Includes AddHandler server-parsed .htm AddHandler server-parsed .html

isnt there a way to do it with the Name servers like NS1.DOMAIN.COM NS2.DOMAIN.COM or how may i just point a domain to wamp only by IP? why dosnt have wamp a option to add domains and point to them like on the Direct Admin Control Panel :-\
