Ports are opened. I just don't get it. I had to move the server anyway so while it was down I moved it to a different room, restarted it and all day it has been flawless. hmmm

Been there, done that, no change. Also started and restarted all services many times over. Closed and reopened program, rebooted computer, tried everything I could think of.

Ok so I can not access the web and then back through my router to the server. I fix this by rather than putting in my public IP I use my Private IP with no problems for example anyone in the world can goto [75.62.242.66] and goto the competition tippler site on my server. This is kind of unrelated but everyone here really know what they are talking about so I thought I would ask. I have a website dealing with reptiles. I offer 2 live feeds of snakes. I have the same I.P. connected to one of the feeds 24-7, it comes back to Network Solutions and TDS Telecom. I worry because for example this snake has not moved for 24 hours but this I.P. Ok I sort of got it to work. I had my brother goto and the site came up fine but for some reason on my home computers I get a network time out now. He says there is something maybe confusing my router about looping right back to my server. Gosh I feel so close yet so far away lol. I really appreciate all the help.

My server dose not block port 80, I checked that before I got started. My brother told me I am using an internal ip for access and I need to use my external ip for that instead, he said to put my external ip in the redirect and it would work fine, when I do this I get an error page. So I goto and that should redirect me to my laptop at [192.168.1.65] witch is dose. Now for all the computers on my network it shows up find but for everyone ells they get a "Page not found" error, Any advice?

Gosh now I think I really screwed up. I exported the database from my server then went to import it. I saw a message in phpmyadmin saying the rood password was not set and it was a security risk so I set the password, now it says access denied, make sure the user name and password in the config file match the server so on and so forth. I played around but cant figure out what its talking about.

Because I know how to use it lol Front page sets up everything for a new message board that I would like to use but I get the server extension error. I have no idea how to set up the PHPBB database as my server did all that for me when I had them install the program. Can I simply copy the Mysql database from yahoo to my computer?
