hi there
dose anyone have any idea about this error, as its been displayed on my web page when ever I try to send an email to the local host:
Warning: mail() : Failed to connect to mailserver at "localhost" port 25, verify your "SMTP" and "smtp_port" setting in php.ini or use ini_set() in C:\wamp\www\cont.php on line 18
any suggestion will be helpful?

hope you sort out the following error message that I got during sending a message to the local user

the database created through the command line MySQL console; I have created an datebase and some other tables,
so far I can even see the table through phpmtadmin.

im recently uploading all my web files into wamp/www, and all installtion were successful, but when I put data into the web site to register or search , nothing display,
I don't no whats the problem.
php is working
mysql is working,
and everything seem good,
any help with problem

I have so far three php files which I dont now where to copy them
1. php.ini
2.phpForApach
3.php-recommended
which goes to apache?
which one goes to windows/system32
which one goes to abach/bin
please let me know as I did reinstalled wamp again and I want to have a fresh start with copying the right files

the server appear to be yellow color, and when I press the start/resume button of the mysql dose do nothing at all,
as you remember fixing the php code when I selected 'short open tag', since then the my sql didn't work, but still be able to open phpmyadmin

just sorted my php problem , and all sudden I end up with mySQL connection fail.
the yellow light appear and mysql dosn't work and cant even restart,
any idae how to sort this out please,
as I dont want to mess up the whole thing

I also checked the apache log_error and the following was displayed
(20024) the given path misformatted or contined invalid charactors: cannot map GET http:// localhost/%3c?%20echo%20$page;%20?%3E=case&mod=%

, so far its ok and it display images and the tables, ,but when I click on the php files it change to :
http:// localhost/%3c?%20echo%20$page;%20?%3E=case&mod=% basiclly its somthing to do with php code

hi everyone,
I installed wamp and its all good, I put my files into the wamp/www/ and then I start geting this message: 403forbidden you don't have permission to access/<on this server.
i have been searching alot to resolve this problem , but it seems everyone has differenet problem,
please help me.
I have wamp2 and the mysql connection is setup and with out error.
