Thanks Steve. Typing 'localhost' into the browser, the wamp icon is white, and no there isn't an .htaccess in the www folder.

I installed the newest WAMP a couple days ago but I'm having this error when trying to access localhost (or any directory in www/ for that matter): "You don't have permission to access / on this server."
