Hello guys, I am back with another question. I am installing WAMP on a local machine which should become an internal server on which run a local database. I will modify the hosts of each pc in the local network so they will be able to connect to local database. i already have used the guide linked above, but that one only shows how to configure the hosts with static ip. so the file "hosts" is more or less: 192.123.456.100 localhost 192.123.456.100 my_name and in this way it works ony until the ip does not change for some reason. how should i configure the file "hosts" with the pc name? thank you.

unfortunately i couldn't find the INSTALL.bat file if i simply overwrite the folders i cannot access the localhost files anymore. maybe thare have been some error while backupping the files since the number of folders is different. is there any file in which mysql databse are stored, which is simply could overwrite?

hello guys. since i'm running wamp server to run a private office server i'd like to know if it would be possible to add futher folders in some config file in order to be seen from the server itself. i have installed wamp server in C:\ the server is configured to have a Folder called MySite in which are stored all the server pages. now i would like to let a generic "C:\OtherFolder"
