All, Found that latest install does not create the /PEAR folder and also does not copy the go-pear.phar file needed. Needed immediate answers on this so had to un-install latest WAMP and then install WAMP5 instead to fix this problem. Thanks All! OMR

All, Even found, downloaded and copied "php_xdebug-2.2.0-5.3-vc9.dll" into the ../zend_ext folder, rebooted and no change. Has to be somewhere in that WampServer config or exe and not actually looking for right file, so need some serious help here. Thanks! OMR

All, Having a problem with php_xdebug. Noticed this when I went to load PEAR. All, The older versions of WAMP, using the wampserver.ini, one could modify the menu to: bring up localhost apps, add an edit session for the wampmanager.ini file, add an edit session for phpmyadmin config file config.inc.php, add a folder with the help manuals for php and mysql, etc. Under the new version, using wampmanager.ini, I've tried editing the file to add these items, with

All, Never mind found the line Deny from all in this section of the alias file, which I comment out as follows: <Directory "c:\wamp\phpmyadmin/"> Options Indexes FollowSymLinks MultiViews AllowOverride all Order Deny,Allow # Deny from all Allow from 127.0.0.1 </Directory> and now back to working. All, Keep geting the following 403 error: Forbidden You don't have permission to access /phpmyadmin/ on this server. I've checked the config.inc.php file and have used both UID=root; PWD='' which is valid as can login from mysql console with this and UID=administrator; PWD=mypassword, which is alternate admin user I created and nothing changes. Any suggestions? OMR

All, Got the install fixed. See link at: for fix details. However clearing the PHP error log and restarting Apache, I still get the same error messages. Now assume it is related to UID/PWD login issues. Need some help with figuring this out! Thanks! OMR

All, OK could never get the PostGres to install and run correctly. Have post on this at: Will pop back in here when PG is up and see it these issues get resolved. OMR

Y, Thanks for your comment, but you are wrong that is the one I opened. Been using WAMP for over 5 years, but just signed on to this board. Doesn't mean I'm noobie, just cause I joined the board today. Been able to solve all my WAMP problems until today and even advanced enough to modify my own WAMP menu with the wampmanager.ini file adding all kinds of goodies and shortcuts to what I do.
