WampServer

Running windows 7, wamp server 2.0, php 5.30, mysql 5.1.3.6., apache 2.2.11 from the latest wamp download. Mysql was enabled from the console and fom editing the php.ini file in the \apache\bin directory. Phpinfo still does not list mysql and no myswl functions can be run. How can I fix this?

I am getting the identical error. I tried to set the password of the MySQL server and change the phpmyadmin password. I still get this error.
