I am sure it is 7.75KB and not <8KB. I have the FAT 32, not NTFS. I doubt it is a hard-disk sector issue but I will run scan disk anyways.... What other possibilitys? Would reinstalling WAMP work? How do I delete every file WAMP has on my computer? Maybe I missed a file or two last time I uninstalled it?

P.S. Thanks for closing this thread. There was 17 posts that lead no where and served only to confuse people. Now that I know what the problem is, I have created a smaller thread that clearly states and asks a good question. Where someday, maybe, it will be answered. For now, I'm looking for som

Thanks! I have a domain name and DNS, but How do I know what my dns is for this? For instance, might be ns1.me.com? Don't get me wrong, I don't want to use this for hosting a site or sites. I want the ability to develop and work on my site with out the hastel of uploading my site to a server. I know I can do this localy but, from time to time, I get into a snag and ask my friends for help. Th

1.) How do I change the directory of the www file. I would like to move the file to another folder making my localhost from there in stead of the default c:\WINDOW\WAMP\WWW\ 2.) If I can set the server to online, then can I use the sever to host a file? 3.) If so, then can you tell me how to do this? 4.) If I can't, use the server to host files, then what is putting the server online for?
