When I'm working on a site useing wamp I enter localhost/mysite and "mysite" will not appear. now I must enter 127.0.0.1/mysite for "mysite" to open When I just enter localhost I go to or some other Google site. not the wamp server page. Thanks guys for the detailed responses. they will go straight into my "special Info" folder. I took the easy way out, I uninstalled wamp and reinstalled it and the green icon came back.

I was useing wamp this morning and everything ok then suddenly I could not get into my localhost/mysite/ and I kept getting this message "Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at localhost" I also noticed that my icon in the tray was yellow/brown, it would not go to green nomatter how I did the settings. Will Files be saved if I uninstall Wamp and reinstall ? I think (know) I have made a mess of my wampserver and I cannot even connect to my local host, It comes up with CANNOT CONNECT TO SERVER.
