Thanks - I have just worked out PHOPmyAdmin and managed to create a database and some tables. Two further questions. 1. Where are the databases stored? 2. How do you upload them to the server and where do they reside? Thanks Oliver

Hi there Need help....! I have WAMP 5 installed and that is working fine, but I now want to use mySQL with PHP. Do I need to install mySQL seperatly or is it already included in WAMP? SQLite appears to be installed so if this is all I need then how do I create databases and tables and then manage them? Is there a manager to do this? I have just solved my own problem when i installed the latest version. When I installed I selected the directory that I do all my changes in as my host directory. Before I just used the default www directory....! Doh! How do I change the host directory if I was to work on a new website though???

Hi there Hopefully this is a simple problem and I am just being a novice I have a simple php file that refers to CSS. If I make changes to the CSS fles then refresh in the browser the changes are not shown. I can sometimes get them to work if I delete all the files from the www directory and then view the php file again but this doesn't always work. This is highly frustrating as I am trying

Do you mean just for testing or is it best to literaly run your whole project from the www folder? That will cause problems if you are working on more than one development though wouldn't it.

I have just noticed that if you run the page by clicking on the WAMP icon in the bottom right hand corner off the screen and then clicking on localhost the correct version of the page runs, so it looks like Dreamweaver is copying over the changes but tthe latest version isn't been run via the Dreamweaver method. If I am working on a page in Dreamweaver and when you preview it, the files get coppied over to the c:\wamp\www to run? Firstly, is this what should happen? It seems to work ok. Can I specify another directory? However, if I make changes to that page back in Dreamweaver then preview again, the changes are not reflected. It's like the new file has not been coppied over. Anyone using Dreamweaver and Wamp? Wamp5 1.6.3 used to work ok up until yesterday but now I get the message "Page Cannot Be Found" but I do not recall doing anything to cause this.
