Click Start -> Run Type regedit (the Win Registry Editor pops up) doubleclick HKEY_CURRENT_USER click Environment in the right panel of the editor, you will see the environment variables xampp created. right-click the names created by xampp, then select Delete close the editor, then restart. important: be careful in deleting name-values here. if you delete a wrong name-value

hi. thanks all for your replies. i managed to install pear successfully using wampserver (yey!!!) i just forgot that there were environment variables created by xampp when i tried to install PEAR in xampp. so i have to delete those in my registry using RegEdit. then i restarted my pc. then back to installing PEAR using go-pear.bat in the command prompt. everything went smoothly as i just ke

hi guys. m newbie using wampserver. i am trying to install PEAR by double-clicking go-pear.bat in my d:\wamp\bin\php\php5.2.5 folder. the problem i am encountering is it's being asked for the path of my pear.ini. i can't see any pear.ini anywhere in the wamp folder nor in my c:\windows directory any ideas guys?
