Ok, when you mentioned viewing an HTML file in localhost, a bell rang in my head. I am viewing the files from my www directory when they load into the browser, but I remembered that somewhere in the URL address it should be localhost/filename. How to I get my files into localhost? I have them in the www directory and did anything ? I am missing a localhost directory?

Unfortunately that did not work either. All my files had the long tags on them and they are not loading. Is there another way to test if PHP is working? Using the <?php phpinfo(); ?> did not give me any information. Could it be some setting in Wamp?

I have wamp loaded on two laptops. Last school term I did a recipe database which worked fine as of end of January. I am unable to view the webpages on both laptops. I ran the <? phpinfo(); ?> and nothing came out. Am I missing somthing? All servers on wamp say they are running. I did not change any files? Do I need to reinstall wamp or PHP? Any assistance would be appreciated.
