I too am having this issue. Its really slow. When using phpmyadmin its terrible. The mysqld-nt service runs between 70% to 90% during the time I access phpmyadmin. I have to wait about 10 seconds each page load. Thanks

Hi I have this issue also. I have a desktop and a laptop. At the moment I have to zip up the website files and export the DB then unzip and import the DB on the laptop, then back again. Its a real pain. So I was wondering if WAMP could be installed on both machines, then have the localhost directory set to the USB stick drive. This would work wouldn't it? You just swap the USB around and W
