Nope. I edited the httpd.conf file and changed the servername to my computer IP address 192.168.1.106 (if i'm correct, that's what McAfee is telling me it is) and it's still not working. God this is frustrating.

i forgot how exactly I did the pinhole thing - but i did it through a tutorial about setting up apache w/ the linksys router. The router is set up though to accept them, i checked when the problem first occured. I'll edit the httpd.conf file when I get home, see if setting up to my computer IP address works that way. so it should be ServerName localhost: 192.168.1.1 but instead of that

It didn't work - Here is my httpd.conf file: # # This is the main Apache HTTP server configuration file. It contains the # configuration directives that give the server its instructions. # See <URL:; for detailed information. # In particular, see # <URL:; # for a discussion of each configuration directive. # # Do NOT simply read the instructions in here without understanding

Hey. I was in the process of creating a website - slowly but surely. The first thing I did was register my domain name through smallbusiness.yahoo.com (i only use yahoo for any of my web needs for some reason) and then I set up apache, php, mysql (the works) and everything worked fine. I changed my records on yahoo to point to my IP, i allowed port 80 HTTP open on all fire walls and everythig wor
