My webserver is php 5.2.17, mysql client 5.0.96, apache 2.2.21 My local computer = win 7, 64bit, 4gig ram, 2.6hz q6600 processor. I'm trying to get an idea of best download choice for WampServer. I would appreciate suggestions? Thanks

Running WAMP on Vista 64 bit localhost server. It runs very slow on Drupal local than the actual webserver drupal installation by at least half again. Any suggestions for speeding up the localhost server?

Sorry didn't work... the Mysql is stopping at the cache menu. There are number of large cache entries,which make the mysql file about twice what it should be. I think I need a way to remove cache entries from the mysql. I'm not sure about the myqlfiles enough to just start deleting cache entries. There maybe calls or referrals to those entries within other tables in the Mysql. My CMS app

I looked at the MySql file with Wordpad. It appears my cache entries in the Mysql may be the issue. I'm looking for a way to edit the file and remove those cache entries safely. I think I fixed it. I found the MYSQL.INI file. WHen I installed the 2.0h version over the 2.0f version I got a different MySql version. I can see the Mysql in the WAMP bin file, but I am not sure if I Can IMPORT via PHPMYADMIN from the below named location. I got the wamp working... not sure what I did. I now cannot get phpadmin to see the Mysql files associated with the localhost sites. My backup was screwed I forgot about backing up the Mysql files, so they are still intact within the original install of wamp. Is there a way I can point to the Mysql files for all the different localhost sites I have within the WWW folder?

I think I messed up. I put a memory stick in the USB port and installed the WAMP 2.0h on it. It didn't work, but the worst part is somehow I think it corrupted my C:\WAMP install on my computer. I cannot get services to start. I did a complete Shutdown and came back up, still it services won't start. Is there a clean up procedure or something I can use. I've got several complete site
