Currently, I have Drupal 7 production site up and I would like to make some changes in it. The site is up and running with no problems on the webserver. I have made some changes on the webserver preceded always by backups. The changes I need to make now are considerable and may bring the site down for prolonged time. I need to clone the site down to a localserver WAMP so I can work on it,

Sorry didn't work... the Mysql is stopping at the cache menu. There are number of large cache entries, which make the mysql file about twice what it should be. I think I need a way to remove cache entries from the mysql. I'm not sure about the myqlfiles enough to just start deleting cache entries. There maybe calls or referrals to those entries within other tables in the Mysql. My CMS app

I looked at the MySql file with Wordpad. It appears my cache entries in the Mysql may be the issue. I'm looking for a way to edit the file and remove those cache entries safely. Does anyone know of a tool or something that will do that safety. I think it can be done through the text editor, but I'm not sure of just how much to remove or what not to remove. Found a coupe of editors for My

How do you do a complete/thorough uninstall of WAMP? Already backed up all databases, and folders of sites. Now a reinstall of WAMP. Is there a list of registry keys that need to be removed? Or is there a find/replace you can use to wipe any problem registry entries of previous WAMP install. Used the Control Panel Unistall, then ran the Glary Registry repair. It cleared what looked to

I think I fixed it. I found the MYSQL.INI file. WHen I installed the 2.0h version over the 2.0f version I got a different MySql version. During the install it would appear the MySql.ini file was changed to the newest version of Mysql... 5.0.30 to 5.0.33 I changed the Mysql mentioned in the ini file to the previous version of Mysql, where my data was showing up in the previously mentione

I got the wamp working... not sure what I did. I now cannot get phpadmin to see the Mysql files associated with the localhost sites. My backup was screwed I forgot about backing up the Mysql files, so they are still intact within the original install of wamp. Is there a way I can point to the Mysql files for all the different localhost sites I have within the WWW folder?

I've got a large Drupal site up on webserver. The site is working well. I need to make some major changes in the site, but I cannot bring myself to do it online. It is just too risky with all the content on the site. The site is downloaded (not archived) to my computer along with the (not archived) mysql database. I have made a backup of the MySql and the application of course ---
