Make sure you host file is present. If not try this Uninstall wamp Fix host file reinstall wamp Worked for me.. If you can edit your host file make sure 127.0.0.1 localhost does not have a # in front of it..

I windows host file was missing. I re-installed it.. Then uninstalled WAMP and reinstalled WAMP Now all is well

Hi I just installed the latest version of WAMP and now get this message when I go to Localhost ****** Forbidden You don't have permission to access / on this server. ****** [127.0.0.1] works I have looked at POST and tried their solutions.. and I have had WAMP for 5 years and this is the first time I got this error.. thank you..

Hi I have installed wamp 1.6.4. I want to use Mysql in console mode. When I open it it ask me for my password. I have tried a couple of passwords. but the console window closes every time I enter one. What do you do if you have forgotten your password.. Cheers Possum..
