yay, got it working, For anyone else who is having problems like i had.... make sure u don't have a napt rule BEFORE the RDR rule in your NAT rule entry section on your modem/router The napt rule was meeting the 'requirments' , and because the thing was meeting the requirements of the napt rule which was entry 1.. it wasn't bothering to look any further where it would of found my RDR

yeap, but you just got to change the port in the httpd.conf file.. at current it will be set at port 80. so if u want an easy way... open it up in notepad and go edit -> replace, type in port 80 to find and type in port 3128 to replace and just go thru and replace all and then file save, and restart apache. if you want ppl to access it outside of your local network tho, u'll *probably* have to

mm, i was just running it through the dns that the registra provided... thats who i'v got my website registered with. should i just try going through someone else like that zonedit place you recommended earlier? also i'v heard DMZ mentioned a few times on other ppl's posts, would that have anything to do with me? um, you know how in add or remove windows components if something is installed it has a little tick in a box next to the item. well IIS isn't ticked

running xp pro, but made sure that IIS is uninstalled. and don't have skype.. and just making sure... if IIS not ticked in the add or remove windows components in control panel it wouldn't be installed would it? Troz

and thanks but tried restarting apache and still didn't work starting to think it may not be apache, cus' i installed abyss web server and it didn't work either... any idea's of what could be stoping a webserver from running on port 150 outside of the local network taking into account... grc sheilds up is showing port 150 as open and registering that it is SQL-net when the webserver is

Hi, i'm having trouble setting up wampserver. It works fine on the local pc, with both localhost:150 and 192.168.1.17:150 and it works fine over another computer i have on the network. I'm having the same problem. I tried using the full php tags as well however I only get a blank screen. The default index.php page works w/o any problems. The following outputs nothing and when you view source it shows the code verbatum: <?php phpinfo(); ?>
