yes u r right @ roms i m not talking about the new WAMP SEVRER release.. but the 5.1.7.3 version. n the thing is i can easily stop all the services normally when i use WAMP manager.. and all the services all stops.. but when overload or the above described proxy server browses my website in many instances my apache server get corrupted..and at this time it shows tht servie is stopped in

its ok if you don't want to use these proxy servers.. but my point was how will u check that ur website is working fine from other computers outside ur network i think its the only way..or else u have to go to some friends computers or cyber cafe and check tht ur website is still working.. my point was tht if we constaly increase the load on wamp server just like i said click 4 or 5 time to

yes i know its 2 istances of httpd.exe is normal but when u use tht site to browse ur website.. n click on surf buton 4 or 5 times it kicks ur wamp server. n ur website comes down n when u put ur wamp server offline u'll see tht ur wamp manager will tell u tht ur apache server is not running and there will be a yellow thing in the icon.... then when u'll stop all the services and exit the

i think you don't actually read my post carefully ... i told that the httpd.exe was not killed it was runnign even after i exit the wamp server... so there was nothing i can do else restarting my comp.. wamp cannot run two instances of httpd.exe server at once.. correct me if i am wrong

ok guys I came down a severe problem regarding latest WAMP and all other version. 1. I started the wamp manager and started my website.( i used wamp server as production server on my own computer with NO-IP DUC for free subdomain) 2. I went to and entered my subdomain like i.e: mydomain.net and hit the surf button 3 or more than 3 times say 5 times which opened 5 instances for surfing my site

it is enabled.. and i have direct connection to internet using dialup adsl modem and i can see my port 80 open on canuseeme i need help to set a virtual host ..as i got a free subdoamin of NO-IP.com and i m using wamp so when ever i try to open my website from other computer the website opens but when ever i clicko n any link it redirect to .... instead of .. and the page comes blank

thx xmlb.. i found the same problem the problem was with the cache of IE 7.0 thts why the problem remains there if if u change password on both(PHPMYADMIN & config.inc.php) the problem was gone but still the ie7.0 loads the cache page.. tht really pisses me off. but now when i delete all the browsing history .. i m happy with my password set with phpadmin Post Edited (11-06-07 12:
