I Have been experiancing the same prob with oscommerce installed on my pc. I downloaded the PHP4.4.2 add on - when i switch to php 4 and i try to access my catalog homepage I get the same error you get but when i switch to php5 then I can connect to the database.

If you have wamp installed create a folder in the www folder and place your test1.php inside it. Then rename test1.php to index.php You should see something. You dont need a special php editor. You can edit in notepad aslong as yousave it as .php Post Edited (04-23-06 16:21)

Create a folder in the www folder of your wamp server and call it anything you like. Copy all the files situated in the html folder of xoops and place them in the folder you created. go to wamp's phpmyadmin and create a database - I called mine xoops. set permissions on the database, create a username and password for the database etc. then go to localhost in wamp menu and click on the fol

Hi everyone I'm hoping that someone here can offer me some assistance. I have oscommerce 2.2ms2 installed ( have posted in their forums and have been unsuccessful in getting a solution to my problem) I am getting the following error message when I click on the subcategory links of products offered aswell as on the manufactures links.
