Hi, Could anyone elaborate on pear a little bit because I am confused a bit. I understand the concept and if I am not mistakening php5 should include it already, so there is no installation requried. Is that correct? The include_path points to it also ( c:php/pear). Also , how can I install a new package? I am trying to use the DB package. xkarika

HI guys, I have the same problem, It's been a headache for a week now. Someone mentioned that he/she installed pear. Is there anything to do with that? Also there was a post about turning globals on. Well I did and nothing has changed. I have looked into several forums, but haven't found any comprehensive explaination. Cheers, xkarika

4. Apache is not running
I just installed the package on my pc (Windows XP) and Apache is not running. When I click on the tab on the tray only the install uninstall service lines are active. Nothing else. Any help?
