Same problem here. I've uninstalled / reinstalled, cleared the registry and variables and still receive the error. I'd wish the admins here would realize it's an issue with MySQL instead of assuming people just don't do the work to fix it. I'm sure many of us would appreciate if the admins made available 1.6.5 until MySQL resolves the issue.

Hello all. I have a problem with WAMP where PHP files I have in my localhost area aren't executing at all. I have even just uploaded a simple PHP file with just an echo statement and the echo message isn't being displayed.
