The problem is there are No NULL devices in Windows Fundamentals For Legacy PCs, I am writing a patch but in the meantime, there is no work around. NULL.SYS is a device driver that CygWin and Apache and other programs require in order to pass NUL statements. Ordinarily the Null Device is a driver that is registered on installation of XP, typically it resides in c:\window\system32\drivers\
