Thanks. Unfortunately, this needs admin rights, and I have not been able to elevate that scheduled task to admin rights, no matter how many tricks I found on the internet. Testing "ServiceScheduler" right now, it looks like it can restart a service once a week.

I have a batch file that gets executed at night, checking my Lets Encrypt certificates and renewing them if necessary. How do I make Apache reload the certificates? I tried net stop wampapache64 net start wampapache64 but I can not run these from a scheduled task. I have tried everything, but I cannot get enough rights. Any other way?

Thanks, Otomatic. That was too simple. ;-) (I had misunderstood what the message would handle. I thought it would handle the error of the .well-known not being a project. But I will relocate that folder.)

Thanks. I have it all running! Where do I find this setting: .well-known xxx xxx xxx xxx These are your folders in c:/wamp64/www To use them as an http link, you must declare them as VirtualHost. However, you can use Right-Click, Wamp Settings, Warning: risky..., Allow links on projects...

Okay, let me put this in other words. Instead of using self-signed certificates, I want to use ones signed by Let's Encrypt. I know how to generate and update them. I just want to avoid messing with the Wamp configuration, so my changes to not get overwritten by Wamp. Any tips?

From your response I guess I must have used the wrong terminology. I hope you still understand what I am trying to do.

Wampserver 3.3.3 I have enabled HTTPS, and it works with the self-generated certificates. I have multiple virtual hosts. I would love to use Let's Encrypt to generate the certificates. I have use it before on a different server so I will figure it out. I want to generate one certificate, including all subdomains. How do I best do that? I am afraid that changes that I make will be overrid

I watched several freezes and there is nothing in any of the events that would be relevant. Not even close.

> Update to xDebug 3.1.6 Thank you. That handled the error messages in the event viewer. Unfortunately, WampServer frozed again within an hour. Any other debugging that I could do?

I have no anti-virus and/or anti-malware and/or anti-spyware software other than Windows Defender running. Last week I made a fresh install of all VC++ packages and WampServer. As you suggested, I now installed all VC++ packages again using: "Best way to install Visual C++ Redistributable Packages". No change. The tray froze after a few hours. As I said, I had already disab

I have played around with this during the last few days. No success. I have turned off pretty much everything else, but no change at all. Within a day, sometimes minutes, the tray freezes. No response anymore, not even wampmanager.exe -quit Any idea what I could try or test? Willing to work on this.

The green tray symbol froze again. It worked for many hours, but now it does not respond anymore. Apache, etc., run fine. How do I restart without stopping Apache, SQL, etc.?

I updated to version 3.2.5.2. After I restarted the machine, the Wampserver was automatically started. Apache etc. are up - But I do not have a tray icon at all. Whatever I did, I can not get a tray icon, so I can not use any of the functions. We are getting further away from my original problem, that I had an icon, but it did freeze and not react anymore after a while.

I don't understand. I have a standard installation of WampServer that freezes. I have not changed or modified anything at all! I do not have any autostart. (I just wanted to point out that I am happy this will be possible in the future.)

Sometimes the tray runs fine for many hours. When I double-click on the "W" symbol, I get to the Aestan Tray Menu. On "updates", I get the message: You are using version 3.2.5.0. Version 3.2.5.2 is available to download at the author's website. Do you want to update your application now?

Aestan Tray freezes after many hours. It work fine after start, but later stops responding. All services run fine, but Aestan Tray does not respond anymore. I de-installed, downloaded the newest check_vcredist.exe, all good. Reinstalled wampserver3.3.0_x64.exe (as admin), updated to 3.3.1. Problem persists. Any idea? Also, while looking for a solution, is there a way to restart
