Hi I have been using WAMP for some time. Not secured. Today I have loaded joomla. Followed a youtube video for directions . I was up quickly or so it seemed. I then used the instructions for the password setting in PHPMyadmin. Followed the step by step instructions. I typed out the password in an excel sheet then used that to copy into the password location in privileges Was given this

Thanks for this. I am not here long and am not an expert but there is a fault in WAMP 1.74. I have now downloaded the version 1.73 and installed WAMP as per the excellent video on and all is working as it should.

Hi I have down loaded wamp 1.74 but I can not open MyPhpAdmin from the tray pop up dialogue box. There are loads of references to this if Google is checked. Could be an issue with WAMP 1.74. Hi Again Thanks for you advice and time. I have gone to Internet Information Services Located Web Sites Default web site (currently running) right clicked and stopped. Exited file. Skype and VOIP are closed. I went to hover on the WAMP tray I see that one of 2 services running. I click on Restart all services, check again and it’s the same. I close the machine.
