Hi Gamattox, I just copied the example conf to a new httpd-ssl.conf and changed what was needed to meet my needs and all is working. You are right that the Require local needs to be changed to Require all granted to make it work. Have you also uncommented the following in the httpd.conf? LoadModule ssl_module modules/mod_ssl.so Include conf/extra/httpd-ssl.conf LoadModule socache_shmcb
