I have a similar issue with files associated with a Joomla plugin on my local WAMP server. Have you figured anything out yet? I need to change permissions on a file within the plugin to get it to work locally. Do you know how I can do that to one file? Jason

On my local WAMP dev server, I am unable to change permissions on the Simple Image Gallery plugin so that images will be rendered in my content items. There is one file associated with the plugin that is not executable by default and I have been unable to change it. Can someone explain how this can be accomplished? Cheers, jason
