Thank you for the effort in Trying to assist me. I changed my default browser from Firefox to Chrome and the problem was solved. I think firefox was failing to download the exported sql file.

When i click go inorder to save the sql file, no error is displayed . But when i click an arrow pointing downwards on my broswer to view the downloaded file there is an error to show that the sql file has failed to download.
