Please excuse this question if it's dumb, but when you say a security add-on such as mine, what exactly do you mean? Is this something on your website?? or on this website? I'm just a little confused on what I would need to make WAMP be secure so I can run it on a production server. Thanks, Alan

If wamp shouldn't be used for production servers, do you know of one that could? I saw something from uniformserver.com but I don't know if it's better or not. I love WAMP and will continue to use it on my laptop for testing, but I need something that's easy to install on a real production server. Thanks, Alan Sawyer

Acutally I think Apache is really running, however MYSQL isn't starting. Is there something in the mysql config to change so it will work? Thanks

Not sure if this matters, but I had IIS installed first when I did the wampserver install. It's a dedicated Windows 2003 machine from godaddy. Alan

I am trying to continue to run IIS on my server but install Wampserver also. I have changed httpd.conf thru wampserver to port 8081 but when I try to install the service it just says that IIS is using port 80 and press enter to continue. What am I doing wrong? Alan

I am trying to sync the db using sqlyog. They are saying there are differences between mysql4 and mysql5. They are saying that their syncing isn't compatible between v4 and v5.
