Hi, I've just noticed that the Wamp Server icon is missing from my system tray. I can still get to local host in Firefox though. Any idea what I need to do to get it back? Thanks

Hi, I recently migrated a site using Updraft Plus from my Wamp Server to SiteGround. I've just come back to Wamp to continue working on it but am now getting an error message saying the site cannot be reached. andrewmarkperry.dev refused to connect. Try checking the firewall and connection. Err connection refused. I am running another Wordpress site on Wamp with no problems so I don't think

Hi, Just wanted to let you know that I deleted McAfee Live Safe, after I couldn't find a way to change it's settings in regard to Wamp Server. It's been a week now and everything is working well with a different anti virus. Thanks for all your help. It was McAfee that was the problem all along

Hi, In the scan report, almost every entry is McAfee blocking my pc accessing various TCP Ports. In the Firewall section - it doesn't go into detail but says it has block 499 connections in the last 7 days. I can't find anything about those problem files specifically though. Do you think it might be the firewall of the whole antivirus? I'm happy to try another one if you know of one that does

I suspect restarting my PC is an issue - I just did it - only 10 minutes after changing to Apache 2.4.28 and when it loaded I got the error messages again about the problem files. I'm now back on .27 again thanks

I have again this morning removed and reinstalled Wamp - just after I'd named a local host and was restarting the DNS server I got the same old windows message about libruptil-1 - the file's contents were missing again. I’m sorry, I’ve just followed your last piece of advice about house clearing and it has broken again. Another error message about libaprutil-1.dll this time. I have followed the file extension to the Apache folder and it is empty. For a week I haven’t been using the server but have occasionally closed it and opened it to check it was still working and it has been. This morning I logged in

Hi, thanks for getting back to me. I reinstalled Wamp and it started working for me again - but when I accidentally clicked restart all services it went back to just "local server - 2 of 3 services running" when I hovered over the Orand Wamp symbol in the system tray. If I try to open Wamp up, after closing it down, I get the following error message c:\wamp64\bin\apache\apache2.4.
