Hello, right I took the steps in both of those points number 03 and 08. But for some reason the Web Deployment Agent Service was still using port 80 even though I had already removed all of the IIS files and components from my computer. Stopping the Web Deployment Agent Service opened up port 80 for Apache to use and solving my issue.

OK so with your focus on port 80 I did a little searching online and found that the Web Service Deployment Agent Service (a remnant of IIS?) was using port 80. I disabled it and restarted wamp and now it's green! I simply disabled the service through the Task Manager under services. Now I just need to figure out why my javascript still isn't showing up lol Thank you so much for your hel

Hello, thanks for the reply. For Skype I unchecked the box that says "Use ports 80 and 443 as an alternative." For IIS I completely removed all folders and files and uninstalled all related parts through the Control Panel. For Apache I have gone through Kaspersky and allowed all that I know of related to wamp or apache. When clicking on the trey icon, then hovering over A
